Hey my lovelies, this weeks book review is Last to Know by Micalea Smeltzer. After discovering the world of free kindle books I found Last to Know. The cover is not the most interesting thing to look at and it kind off reminds me of a wattpad book, but it meets its purpose, as it is a young adult romance about a teenage girl who falls for a mysterious boy, who then spend their summer together doing wild and crazy things.

Emma was a good main character, she wasn't the sharpest tool in the box, but that was okay. It didn't make her unlikable it just made the book seem realistic. Maddox wasn't a total mystery like he was supposed to be, but he was still likable. Personally for me I think Mathias is my favourite character. Sadie was annoying and after she ditched Emma at the concert she needed a bit of a slap.

The ending was alright, I know she spent like two weeks or something like that ignoring him, as I am too proud, I would have made him wait longer. If you've read the book (which you should of because hello! it's free) then you will know that the ending after Mathias picked her up and then Emma went to meet Maddox, for me this seemed sort of slow compared to the rest of the book, maybe this was just me? But it definitely opened the possibility for a series, which I believe their are four books planned in. In fact (this was completely coincidental) but I read it the day before the sequel came out. Hopefully I should read that at some point in the future. So due to this I have rated this 4 stars,

Book Review: Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins

Hey my lovelies, this weeks review is Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins. I have been trying to read this for awhile ever since I read Rebel Belle and loved it and if you read my February TBR, you will know that I was supposed to read it then. Sadly I didn't get round to it, so I read it on the 2nd of March. I rate this book about 3.5/5.0.

To be honest I was a bit disappointed in this book, I adore Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins, it was awesome with a kick ass main character and a amazing plot. But I found Hex Hall was just lacking that humph that makes you want to read the sequel right now. I might read the rest of the books in the future, but not now, maybe if I need to read a book and I'm bored or something.

I'm indecisive about the cover, apart of me really likes it the way its a double. But then some of it makes me think why? What is the point of the double? Is she a twin? No. Is that explained in the sequels?

Sophie was an alright main character, she wasn't really anything special and the supporting cast were just there, nothing interesting a bit 2D. The plot was okay, you could have guessed the ending and the sort-off cliffhanger the end has didn't want me to read the sequel, but it was okay.

I do think though that I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I had read Hex Hall before Rebel Belle due to Rebel Belle having a much higher standard of writing, plot and characters.

Sophies father is confusing, he supposedly loves her daughter to bits, so he sends her to the place where he can 'protect' her, which is also the place where her grandmother and great-grandmother died. And what was the change of heart in her mother at the end. From the beginning her mum wasn't slagging him of, but she wasn't being the nicest was she? And then she was talking about how amazing he is at the end. What the hell?

Anyway to the plot! At the beginning it wasn't really going anywhere, you were just trailing along for the ride, waiting for it to kickstart, but It only really did around 4 chapters from the end.

The trinity were annoying, ever since the first mentioning of a demon, I knew they had done it and killed Holly in the process. But really how did Anna and Elodie not notice that when they murdered Holly and the demon came for her, that Chaston their best friend had been attacked the same way. Or when it happened to Anna as well? How about when Elodie started hanging out with Alice? Could she not tell that she was the demon they raised?

I wasn't that shocked when it came out that Alice was a demon, or that Sophie had to kill her. I have to admit though I did expect to meet Sophies father, but no. The teachers were very 2D and when the headmistress wouldn't have that a demon was getting in, just uggh.

Hey my lovelies, this weeks book review is ….We Were Liars by E. Lockhart and it is my first bad review/book talk for the year and it is just a coincidence it is going to come out on February 13^th. Dun. Dun. Duuun.

Okay, so I did not enjoy this book, mainly due to the writing style. For me personally it was painful to read, but I did it mainly so I could find out what the big plot twist was that everybody was talking about and for me, I guessed it near the beginning. This does not mean, that it might not be your cup of tea, but it is not mine.

I did not like the main character I found her boring and annoying, I kind of wanted to give her a slap and to tell her to get over herself at some points, I mean she moaned about him having a girlfriend, but did that stop her from sort off dating him? No. I'm sorry if you're one of them people, but you annoy me, you know its wrong what you are doing but you keep doing it anyway and then you moan about it. I'm sorry, but you should not be doing that.

I guessed the plot twist early on and it seems like it took forever for us to find out, and the plot twist was that the fire was originally set by her, her and her friends and family got drunk, had a huge pity fest. #richkidproblems and decided that the best way to solve their problems was to burn down their grandparents house, doesn't that sound like a good idea? Really, I just thought she was a huge idiot, I mean after the whole stupid idea of setting a house on fire and then she did'nt even wait for her family to get out before setting it on fire. And then she did'nt expect them to get trapped. Idiot. And I am sorry the book annoyed me so much, that this is going to be a very short review, because it annoys me so much to think of it. So thats it my lovelies, a solid 0.5 stars.

Book Review: Fangirl by Angel Lawson

Hey my lovelies, I am going to be completely honest with you guys here. I did not buy this book, I read it on Wattpad for free (link here). But I have to say I immensely enjoyed it, I was planning to go to bed early, but got stuck reading this until 1am and I did not regret it. After feeling crappy and ill, sometimes you just need a good piece of chick lit and it was exactly that, with the right amount of fandoms, love, ex-boyfriends and zombies, Zombies! Not real ones, but . So if you want a good lighthearted read, then this is the book for you. I rate this 4.5 stars, due to there not being any plot holes or unanswered questions.

Goodreads Summary: Ruby Miller has her summer all planned out. Sitting by the pool. Babysitting for some extra cash. Packing for college. All of that changes when a fan video Ruby and her best friend, Iris, create goes viral gaining their little fansite a ton of hits and the attention of the big wigs in Hollywood.

Ruby and Iris fall into the world of actors, movie sets, teen stars and elusive artists. Not only is their friendship put to the test when Ruby's cast in the lead role of the newest zombie flick, she must straddle the line between fiction and reality, love and lust, and being true to herself.

This as you know if you read my 'read in January' post was that Fangirl was the sixth book I read in January. I really loved the idea of the concept, which was about a fangirl, who makes a video of her cosplaying her favourite character and the author of what she is cosplaying watches it and casts her in the tv series. Ruby then has to face the trials and tribunes of being famous.

The Characters

Ruby is a headstrong teenage girl, who planned on spending her summer babysitting, but instead when she and her best friend Iris make a fan vid on their favourite zombie graphic novel, the author watches it and casts her in the tv series. Ruby is a character that you can relate to and the fact she is living most peoples dreams of meeting there idols and hitting it off.

For me personally, I thought Iris got a bit whiny at times, when she did not get her way, like when she wanted to turn her and Rubys website more gossipy, but then fell out with her when Ruby did not want to because she wanted it to be pure and not corrupted. If that makes sense, as the paparazzi are constantly hounding her and then her best friend who is supposed to understand her wants to be a part of them.

I liked the ending even though you knew it was obvious from the beginning when Ruby was in the slutty costume and “” saved her from the crowd. But I would of liked it if ‘’’ came out with his boyfriend even though we did meet his boyfriend in the epilogue, although I am happy he dumped his agent. I really did enjoy this book and I will be reading this again, when I need a lighthearted read to bring me up.

Hey my lovelies, I have just finished reading Misty Falls by Joss Stirling and decided to write my first review of 2015 on it.

I have been a big fan of Joss Stirling for a awhile now. It has beeen a sort of tradition for the last four Christmases  that I receive one of her books. I got hooked on Finding Sky, when I read a excerpt in some sort of magazine, I instantly begged my parents for it and received it for Christmas possibly in 2010 or 2011. Since then Finding Sky, Stealing Phoenix and Seeking Crystal have been a part of my favorites, they have now been joined by Misty Falls. Even though the previous novels in the series have been predominately about the Benedict brothers finding their soulfinders. This fourth one could be classed as a side novel, as it is not directly linked to a Benedict brother finding love, (Even though it is in there) They are put on the back

burner for Misty's story.

Goodreads synopsis: Misty is a one-girl disaster zone. Born with a Savant ‘gift’ that means she can never tell a lie, her compulsive truth-telling gets her into trouble wherever she goes.

In the first couple of chapters I was waiting for the umpff that really kicks a story into gear and from then on. I enjoyed myself, finding myself not wanting to put it down for the final chapters. I enjoyed the small twist, although it did seem fairly obvious who it was after I found out (hope that makes sense). I enjoyed the (new and old) characters, especially the ones that have returned, which were mainly Zed and Sky, but I enjoyed the book immensely and I am rating 4.5 out of 5 stars. I have to admit I did not like the way Alex forgave his parents I mean really? Your parents abandon you for 13years, nut now they’re here, and there would be no bitterness at all?
